Project manager / business analyst position which requires a complete working knowledge of equity/option and/or fixed income order and trade processing. The person at this position supports many Trading Services client onboarding processes and assists in Trading initiatives and projects. The position requires both specific Trading system expertise (order management systems, FIX and XML messaging protocols, middle and back office systems) as well as intermediate to advanced skills in programs such as MS Excel, MS Access, MS Word, and MS Project. The person at this position must also have advanced organizational, communication and interpersonal skills as he/she serves as a business analyst/process expert and will be responsible for owning and improving a variety of Trading Services processes. The person must facilitate new initiatives and ideas for improvements. This position will be responsible for coordinating multiple participants in order to identify business requirements for projects, work through challenges and must be a key source of client focus for the department, interfacing with clients, their service providers, and account and relationship management teams. Manage the firm's customer confirmation process. Manage various testing functions and are responsible for creating test scripts. Provide operational support and are often used for short-term special assignments. Good understanding of the external market of industry trends. Good analytical and problem solving skills. Has an impact on the business through the quality of the services provided by the individual and his/her group. Has input in making decisions affecting the department. High level of interaction with internal and external clients as well as senior Trading management.
Bachelor's / 4 year degree. 3-5 years experience. 5-7 years experience preferred.
