Head of Change Management and Strategy CSD Embedded Control
Overall responsibility to work with the Global Head of CSD Embedded Control to ensure the CSD control environment and the risk profile are sound and meeting client and shareholder regulatory and operational requirements.
Create, maintain, improve and monitor a robust Control Framework to support all CSD wide goals and objectives
Set the strategy to align functional and organisational objectives in collaboration with the Global Head of CSD Embedded Control to drive decision-making that creates medium – long term improvements with quantitative plans
Identifies opportunities to improve Control Management framework, processes and systems to support Regulatory and Operational commitments
Provide leadership for all regional stakeholder communication and seek feedback to ensure their objectives are met
Lead on Operational Risk governance and monitoring processes and ensure MI and reporting is appropriate, high quality and consistently reported
Provide strategic oversight and direction for the Head of MI, Data & Analytics to deliver projects to improve the quality and standards of Management Information by scoping and agreeing the breadth and focus of our priorities; designing and implementing a single, integrated approach to data definitions and analytical methodologies for priority datasets; working with a range of data owners to secure the supply of high quality business data for business intelligence and analytical purposes.
Provide Leadership to direct CSD wide control related improvement initiatives to support the business units to enhance knowledge and effectiveness within CSD Lines of Business.
Strategically collaborate with Audit, Compliance, Legal and Risk Management to identify risks and trends holistically across CSD by analysing any testing and assessment programs across key transactions, processes, regulations and practices within each of the business units and where applicable, ensuring solutions to address concerns are implemented.
Strategically partner with key stakeholders / Clients to support and facilitate business change initiatives or control reviews and education on the CSD Control Model
Responsible for Recruitment to ensure that all key hires for the team are selected through the robust selection process to ensure that talented and skilled professionals are chosen. Identify resource gaps and manage performance to maintain appropriate bench strength.
Oversee and monitor expense and travel budgets to ensure financial targets for the team are met.
