Job Description

The Junior Quantitative Trader will work under the direct supervision of the Head of Trading and/or Senior Traders to execute trades and provide market information. He/She will serve as support to more senior staff.  The Junior Trader will execute trades on the electronic markets while learning the skills to negotiate and transact in the broader Fixed Income and FX markets.  The junior trader will interact with the dealers throughout the day and relay the important information to senior traders and to the relevant internal parties. Monthly sector recaps and broader firm wide market participation are required as experience permits.  The junior trader will have direct responsibility to execute trades and understand their assigned sectors while forming their own relationships with traders and sales coverage.    

Qualifications

BA/BS.   1-3 years of trading experience, preferable in Fixed Income or FX.
