Job Description

The incumbent is responsible for the management of a professional staff accountable for directly servicing National Banking business and consumer clients. The position holder oversees direct client interaction with respect to account origination, funds transfer requests, payments and advances, account maintenance, product inquiries and referrals, and general servicing issues. The incumbent develops client servicing standards, prepares service quality evaluations, and monitors staff in the attainment of performance goals. This position guides the team in the maintenance/enhancement of relationships with high net-worth banking clients. The job holder interacts closely with sales, marketing, product, and operations management in the development of new product and customer servicing strategies. The position holder is responsible for various administrative functions, including but not limited to, staff training and development, performance review, procedure development and review, and planning/management of expenditures.

Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have a proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop a staff of exempt associates. This position requires excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to support the success of the business line in servicing/maintaining/growing client relationships. An in depth understanding of national banking deposit products, services, and delivery channels is required, in addition to a working knowledge of internal and 3rd party vendor loan and deposit application systems. The candidate must possess an excellent track record with respect to customer service management, demonstrated problem resolution skills, and an overall understanding of banking operational processes and transactional flows. A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7-10 years of customer service/operations management experience is preferred.
