Mobile Developer for BNY Mellon Internal Apps 

Digital Workplace’s Enterprise Mobility Services is currently seeking mobile developers to help us build apps our employees and clients will love. This candidate will develop apps for our employees to increase their productivity, improve their experience and assist them in providing our clients an exceptional experience. With our mobile offerings available to all 50,000+ staff, this candidate has the opportunity to make a huge impact.  


Primary Job Responsibilities to Include: 

·         Contribute to the development of apps for BNY Mellon employees 

·         Automate mobile service components to improve user experience 

·         Participate in agile development sprints to achieve project goals 

·         Build caching, storage, performance optimization strategies to improve user experiences across our apps 

·         Contribute to our Mobile Development Center of Excellence to ensure all BNY Mellon created apps exceed the user’s expectations 

·         Build, maintain and publish best practices in mobile development to educate others 

·         Develop in Cordova hybrid development framework for iOS and Android 



Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, 6-8 years of experience in software development required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.


Primary Qualifications: 

·         2+ years of hybrid mobile development – PhoneGap/Cordova 

·         2+ years of SDK integration experience 

·         2+ years of experience with EMM, MDM, MAM or other mobility management tools 

·         4+ years of web development - full stack OO JavaScript, AngularJS, Java, CSS, Bootstrap 

·         2+ years Native mobile would be a plus; iOS, Android
