Job Description

·         Daily Administration and Workflow Management:

- Allocate and Monitor tasks delegated to Offshore Operations Executives and Analysts

- Strong knowledge of capital markets and debt servicing would be preferred

- Facilitate and ensure tracking and maintenance of KPI reports along-with daily, weekly and Monthly MIS

- Act as a point of escalation for issues and complex situations that may arise as a result of transactions being processed in the team

- The Team Leader will assist in the supervision of team members responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.

- Mentoring and providing guidance to team members and helping in day to day functioning.

- Support validation and assist in approval of processing tasks for the team whilst ensuring compliance with BNYM, Corporate Trust and LoB Policies, Procedures, and Preferred Practices.

-The role requires sound knowledge of Microsoft® Suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) The incumbent would need to develop a strong working knowledge of the usage and functions available in the business.

- The Team Leader should possess a strong ability to independently coordinate with all internal shared service partners, business managers, and / or external parties (if required,) including effective communication.

- Support identification of process improvements to provide superior client service.

- Help attracting and retaining the right talent within the business group.

- Help in facilitating process improvements.

·         Other essentials:

- The Team Leader would be expected to keep track of and support completion of transactions within stipulated Turnaround Time and level of accuracy

- Strong workflow management skills are required

- Load balancing and work reallocation from time to time, in situations of high volume or low staffing may also have to executed

- Comply with all Bank of New York Mellon and legacy Mellon corporate policies and procedures, including HR policies and procedures, applicable to BNY Mellon (India)

- Alert management including the Senior Risk Manager for BNY Mellon (India) immediately of any significant changes to business risks and internal control effectiveness.

- Notify management and/or the Senior Risk Manager for BNY Mellon (India) immediately on discovery of any regulatory breach.

- Comply with all Security and Health & Safety policies and procedures operating within the business.- Strong reporting skills are a must have for this role.
