Job Description

Billing - M1 Supervises a small team responsible for producing invoices and setting up billing accounts. Manages the performance of assigned staff, coaching and guiding on billing setup and execution. Ensures invoices for the products and services are produced and paid. Responsible for establishing and maintaining account structures and fee schedules in the billing system, producing and verifying invoices and applying revenue, accruals and payments. Sets departmental priorities and allocates resources to align with business objectives and annual plan. Contributes to the operating protocols for billing activities and makes recommendations for billing process improvements. Adapts departmental plans and priorities to ensure staff have required resources to execute their assigned activities. Tracks and reports on team performance. Coaches and guides assigned staff on improving the execution of invoice production and achievement of goals. Serves as the escalation point for critical issues or roadblocks. Shepherds issues through to resolution. Keeps abreast of all unusual requests/transactions/issues and ensures proper escalation where appropriate. Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Manages a team of Billing support staff. Responsible for the supervision of team members and coordination of resources. Sets daily priorities to meet operational objectives. Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 4-5 years of total work experience with at least 0-1 years of management preferred. Experience in financial services preferred.
