Reporting to Payroll Group Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the payroll processing and controls for Poland

Your main responsibilities:

  • Review payroll for BNY Mellon Poland for circa 1400 employees
  • Support co-workers in payroll/hr related topics
  • Prepare and/or update payroll instructions and provide them to payroll vendor
  • Payroll controls in Excel and reconciliation back to source
  • Provide a support to payroll related questions from employees, managers or other EMEA Teams 
  • Operate daily with an external vendors as well as other teams (i.e. Payroll EMEA Teams Financial Accounting).
  • Support in internal/external audits.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Position requires at least 2 years pf work experience in Polish Payroll environment.
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Fluent English
  • Practical knowledge of Polish social security and tax rules in a payroll area
  • Proven experience with working time regulation in Poland would be an asset
  • Strong knowledge and working experience of Excel
  • Attention to details and analytical skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaborate in a regional team environment.
