Job Description

The incumbent will be responsible for providing timely information, assessment and analysis to Senior Management and the Board of Directors on asset quality and credit risk trends; coordinating the monthly preparation of the full year forecast for non-performing assets; and managing the Corporation's loan loss assessment process. Incumbent will have full responsibility for the Loan Pricing Model including theoretical assumptions, administration, updates, and training. Incumbent serves as one of the primary focal points for dealing with OCC, Fed, and Auditing Department. Incumbent provides review of asset quality information developed by Finance.


Must have 3 to 5 years of financial analysis experience or 1 to 2 years of financial analysis experience plus an MBA; excellent analytical and communication skills; and the ability to work with, negotiate with and influence all levels of management. Extensive knowledge of the following is required. Bank accounting and regulatory environment; product and lending functions; and all asset types along with structures, pricing and terms.

Risk and Compliance provide risk and compliance services across all BNY Mellon businesses. Organizationally, Risk and Compliance includes the following groups: Risk Management, Compliance, Global Corporate Security, Information Risk Management and Global Business Continuity. Risk Management oversees and delivers risk services and ensures new business risks are reviewed and approved. Risk Management is organized through Chief Risk Offices for each core business and critical operation. Risk managers provide shared support to BNY Mellon for operational risk services for Global Corporate Trust, Depositary Receipts, Treasury Services and Global Operations in EMEA.
