Problem Management Lead Mgr,Proc Assur'e&Improv
Focused and senior oversight and management of day-to-day operations of the problem management team and related process is essential to provide the highest quality outcomes for root cause. The position must be able to face-off with senior management, SMEs, and business, to ensure stability efforts related to RCA outcomes, both on an individual basis, and from trends/patterns, are addressed with a key focus to reduce risk and improve resiliency. Ensure all report-to-staff provide timely, accurate, and highest quality problem records, with minimal need to follow-up due to process/quality/efficient breaks.
This position is crucial to the advancement of problem management maturity, driving both central and federated problem managers to raise the bar on expectations, be a true innovator in problem lifecycle improvements, and LEAN wherever possible. Our senior management business, clients, and regulatory are paying closer and closer attention to the outcomes of RCAs. A leader to drive and improve the operational aspects of problem management is needed.
Lead Manager, Process Assurance and Improvement->> Manages a small to medium-sized team responsible for Process Improvement efforts for one line of business by coordinating usage and awareness of best processes and methods on projects. Manages the development of CTS Process Improvement efforts for one LOB. Supervises all aspects of advancing the state of the practice across the LOB to ensure the processes and methods provide the appropriate balance of effectiveness and efficiency for the business. Manages and develops strategic client partnerships to ensure that service expectations are developed and met. Conducts informal appraisals to assess gaps in the processes used within the LOB. Participates in the recruiting process, instructs, assigns, directs and reviews the work of other process improvement analysts, prepares performance reviews and provides ongoing feedback. Manages a process assurance and improvement team. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred. Authorized Lead Assessor for CBA-IPI, SCE, SCAMPI, ISO 9000 methodology or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is beneficial. 8+ years of experience in process improvement activities and related tools required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
