The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the management of a professional staff within the PBCG-Client Services Group. The QA Manager is responsible for various functions, including but not limited to, staff training, development and performance evaluation; procedure development and review; and risk identification/mitigation. This position, along with a team of Quality Assurance Specialists is responsible for planning and executing an effective, efficient and productive QA process for the groups within the Private Banking Concierge Client Service Group, Boston Money Center, Branch Operations and other groups as assigned. The QA Manager will manage the QA team as it establishes and developes formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry accepted best practices. They will oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met. They will act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating all QA resources. S/he will develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures. The QA Manager is responsible for insuring that all Private Banking groups achieve successful audit ratings and understand/adhere to all compliance and audit guidelines including those surrounding client authentication and fraud. S/he is responsible for identifying and implementing effective workflows and controls, identifying process efficiencies, and establishing/maintaining relationships with counterparts across multiple business lines to satisfy client requests and research/resolve potential issues. S/he will take an active role in task forces, working groups and initiatives as they arise in support of the business line. The QA Manager will also be responsible for coordinating, maintaining, testing and reporting the Disaster Recovery and Business Resumption Plans for PBCG. The incumbent must have a proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop a staff of QA Specialists. The incumbent must possess excellent communication (written/oral), analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Computer/internet research and excellent project management skills are essential; advanced capabilities in MS applications is required. Ability to multi-task with attention to detail and deadlines in a fast paced environment; work independently under pressure as well as collaborate effectively in a team structure. S/he must have a strong knowledge of banking policies, procedures and regulations. Familiarity with traditional banking, specialty products and services offered through Private Banking is required as well as systems commonly utilized in Private banking.
Qualifications 8 or more years of private banking experience is required. 3 or more years of management experience is required. Branch, financial client service unit, and/or operations experience is a plus. Hign School Diploma required. BS in Business Administration preferred.
