Job Description

Fund/Client Accounting - Oversees the accounting, reporting, and operational areas for alternative investment funds on behalf of assigned clients. Fund structures include open-ended and closed-ended limited partnerships, trusts and subsidiaries.   Key responsibilities include 1.) oversight of onshore and offshore teams in performing highly complex Fund/Client Accounting of fund assets including calculations of net asset values, management fees, carried interest and incentive fees, fund performance, distributions, 2.) monthly/quarterly investor reporting and other ad hoc reporting, 3.) GAAP financial reporting, 4.) Regularly interact with clients, auditors and other external parties in answering questions and resolving multifaceted issues regarding fund and investor reporting, fee calculations, distribution calculations and other fund-related matters.. Other responsibilities include establishing staff work priorities and monitoring accurate and timely completion of assigned tasks and deliverables to our clients, discuss areas of driving service improvement plans, targeting efficiencies, enhancing processes and specialist review functions. Provides input into methodologies and checks complex work done by team members.Contributes to the achievement of related teams objectives.

 

Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is required.
6-8 years with demonstrated relevant work experience and supervisory skills in a multi-task and deadline oriented environment is strongly preferred.
