Job Description

The incumbent will oversee all vendor management and client servicing related activities of the mortgage department and will also act as the primary liaison between the mortgage department and the technology group overseeing the loan origination system needs. The incumbent will be the primary liaison between the mortgage department and the respective vendors. Responsibilities will include oversight and management of all facets of the department's mortgage servicing vendor relationship and oversight of the mortgage department's loan origination system. These responsibilities and related activities will enable the individual to be a 'go to' person or resource for Client Service Risk Analyst I. The incumbent will participate in various functions, including but not limited to: staff training, input to Team Leader for procedure development and review;; and risk identification/mitigation. Incumbent will work closely with the corporate compliance and audit department's to ensure adherence to strict regulatory guidelines pertaining to technology and vendor management. Primary contact for on-going support and maintenance of mortgage document vendors. Oversight and management of all compliance/regulatory related document changes. Oversight of user and data security related to mortgage systems and all vendors. Primary liaison to the mortgage group's vendor relationship with private label mortgage servicing company. Primary point of contact to research, document, prioritize and escalate issues to IT and Vendor as appropriate. The Client Service Analyst will be required to become versed in Appraisal Control Officer functions as well as daily rate setting in accordance with established procedures, communication of rates to sales force and update rate sheets and systems accordingly.  


He/she must have strong organizational skills, self-starter with critical thinking skills, and have 3-5 years experience managing vendor relationships. Good understanding and support of the mortgage processing and workflow is preferred. A Bachelor's degree and managerial experience are required.
