The incumbent will oversee the Post Closing Functions, processing and monitoring of loan modifications, records management, and perform day to day operational related activities which will include : Perform post close review of mortgage closing documents (for all channels such as CORE, RIA etc.) to ensure all necessary documents have been received and are properly executed. Works closely with closing agents on exception conditions and documents as noted in post-closing review while performing background research for all post-closing requests. Incumbent is responsible for the processing and monitoring of all modification requests (for all channels such as CORE, RIA etc.) which includes preparing documents, producing and distributing of reports, and working with outside counsel to ensure all documentation is received and executed accurately and timely. Working with Mortgage Banking Officers, Account Executives and Client Service Analysts, the Post Closing Account Executive must ensure that all modification requests are executed by the loan servicing department. Incumbent oversees the records management function for the business unit by updating and maintaining the database. S/he handles all vault requests including the accurate maintenance, retrieval and dissemination of mortgage loan documentation. S/he works closely with offsite vendor in the shipping and receipt of files. Monitors and controls record retention with offsite vendor, while serving as the main point of contact within the records management vendor. Incumbent will work with management in the completion of any on-going audit requests in addition to time sensitive special assignments pertinent to the business unit. The incumbent will assist in the compliance management area of the department by completing monthly audits and aiding in monthly file review, support the Client Risk Analysts in the vendor management area, while working closely with loan servicing department on the tracking, execution and completion of loan modifications, loan payoff and CEMA requests. The incumbent must have the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, and complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner, work independently and have the capability to determine if an issue requires escalation for resolution. Incumbent will regularly interact with internal Mortgage Banking Officers and Account Executives to ensure maximum customer service and adherence to strict compliance regulations. .
Qualifications BA/BS or equivalent experience is preferred. 3-5 years related mortgage experience, including experience in post-closing and mortgage file review required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills are necessary. Proven work history of overseeing all aspects of individual mortgage post closings on a national basis
