Job Description

Trading - Provides assistance to the trading desk with client order execution. Liaises with support  for allocation, settlement issues on the life cycle of the order. Facilitates orders for internal departments. May execute smaller or less complex  orders on an agency basis in US Equities, Foreign Equities, Options, and Mutual Funds for Broker Dealer, Registered Investment Advisors, and Investment Manager clients. Functions independently with delegated responsibilities from more senior traders. Executes all correspondence requisites with a good understanding of the underlying business and specific client needs. Tracks trades and corrects trade problems. Ensures all items are cleared up on a routine basis. Conducts problem analysis and identifies opportunities for process improvement. Provides product knowledge and technical assistance as necessary, and works with third party vendors to assist with client onboarding, project management, and system testing. Handles client inquires and run reports as necessary. No direct reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 3-5 years of total work experience preferred. Experience in trading or brokerage preferred. Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business. Series 7, 63, 55 preferred.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint required.
