Principal, Regulatory Oversight Mgmt
Regulatory Oversight Management - IC4 Resides in the business and manages first line of defense regulatory oversight management efforts as they relate to moderately complex regulatory and policy requirements. Thorough knowledge of Financial Services rules and regulations. An understanding of the SWIFT network would be a plus. IT Risk and or Information Risk Officer experience would support the work performed in this position. Strong problem solving, analytical ability, oral and written communication skills. Possesses the ability to handle stressful situations with internal clients and regulators, while maintaining a professional approach to problem solving. Ability to effectively deal with senior management as well as, Federal/State and other Regulators. Analyzes existing and proposed legislation, regulatory announcements, and industry practices for first line of defense compliance requirements as it relates to SWIFT. Helps businesses develop and implement procedures to meet compliance requirements. Validate controls or project plans to ensure compliance with laws, rules and regulations and manage risk. Designs and implements governance and oversight processes to ensure the first line is in compliance with the applicable policies. Assists business unit managers in response to reports issued by regulatory agencies or audit. Provide guidance and training to entry-level employees. No direct reports: provides technical advice/guidance to less experienced team members. Strong analytical skills and tool experience are required as the position will lead risk analysis and modeling. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives. Supports multiple, complex projects and owns project timelines and leadership expectations with minimal guidance required.
QualificationsBachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 7-10 years of total work experience preferred.
