Job Description


BNYM Corporate Trust wish to recruit a Group Manager to oversee the Structured Finance/Securitisation Client Service Management team in London.  The Structured Finance client service management team support ABS/RMBS securitisations, project finance loans and other structured finance transactions post closure supporting all life cycle events for the life of the transaction.  The team currently consists of 9 client service managers. The Group Manager will be responsible for providing and ensuring that the team deliver excellent client service support to clients and acting as an escalation point for the swift resolution of any operational issues that may arise.

The Group Manager will be required to:

Demonstrate good knowledge of the structured finance business sector and maintain familiarity with industry best practices

Contributes to the development of strategic initiatives by providing forward-looking insight on client trends to drive future revenue growth.

Resolves highly complex or non-routine issues or inquiries from senior-level or key individuals at clients, as needed.

Maintains relationships with business leaders to report client trends and needs.

Look to improve and were required strengthen procedures and controls in order to improve the overall client service experience and improve team productivity and quality.

Sets policies and procedures for teams managed.

Demonstrate good management and leadership skills. Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.

Responsible for the achievement of multiple team goals and objectives, talent management and supervision of team members.

Manages multiple client service/support teams.



Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required with an MBA preferred. 7-10 years of total work experience with at least 1-3 years of management experience preferred. Experience in an operational area and/or client services preferred.
