Job Description

Position Overview:

Leads and manages on-site Development Management Team to ensure delivery of multiple projects and business / client requirements by adhering to defined agile and project management methodology within a Global team environment;

Responsible for managing and reporting costs; reporting as required and implementing strategies to maintain adherence to required budget;

Manage Stakeholder relationships by:  Ensuring stakeholder expectations are understood and managed accordingly; implement effective stakeholder communications & participation;

Ensure the work of the project, including requirements and deliverables, are clearly defined and delivered.  Ensure projects are prioritized, completed on time, within budget and to business / client specifications;

Ensure Development Management Team manage their teams effectively, to control, monitor, evaluate, and control projects to required levels of performance;

Responsible for ensuring compliance to all required internal and external regulatory requirements by Development Managers and Teams;

Define and implement metrics to track project(s) delivery and process improvement in agile execution; includes project success criteria; managing accordingly; 

Plan and schedule project tasks based, in part, on resource availability and other dependencies; resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion; 

Implement appropriate governance framework aligned to Market Risk Technology governance; provide regular status and other reporting as required;

Provide leadership to the organization by identifying and implementing personal, management team and team development opportunities including improving personal, technical and consulting skills; including suggesting areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions; fostering & supporting constructive change.

SCOPE:

·         Lead Application Development Management Team; prioritizing delivery across Development Teams

·         Stakeholder management within context of global development organization

·         Collaborate with Market Risk Technology Management Team to ensure efficient communications globally

·         Development for, and within Major Project; Minor Enhancement and Production Support Projects

·         Implement processes, practices, and tools that allow for multiple paths of delivery. I.e., create simplified, consistent, reusable, efficient and flexible methodologies

·         Improve and drive alignment across Market Risk Technology development

·         Serve as a Coach and Mentor within the organization
