Senior Specialist Marketing and Communication (fixed-term 12 months contract)
Wroclaw Global Delivery Center (GDC) is fast growing with an average growth of 80%+ year on year. It is crucial that communication to all staff is frequent and consistent. Moreover, with multiple forms and channels of communication, it is important to have a focused approach on communication to ensure key messages are not lost in transit.
•The Communication Specialist will be responsible for streamlining communication at site and integrate all site communication and regional and corporate communication to ensure the right channel is used to deliver specific information
•The Communication Specialist will oversee internal communication strategy including driving thought leadership and investment ideas across the site
•The Communication Specialist will also play an important part in integrating communication from all affinity group updates, local events, Executive messages and other site related points into a single and more effective communication
•English being the second language of Polish staff, it is important that communications are created and circulated with usage of words that can resonate and be understood by the Polish audience. Hence the need for a local communications role that will create the content, edit and roll-out in a most effective manner
•Since the Wroclaw GDC uses TV screens to communicate important messages, there is a requirement to locally support TV screen content creation and upload. A lot of time and effort will be required to keep the content relevant and up to date
•The Communication Specialist will be responsible for any external communication strategy across media, government, industry and the local community in Wroclaw, Poland, working in close collaboration with external communications colleague in EMEA
•The Communication Specialist will assist in the day-to-day execution of the communications strategy and will work with senior management and business division leaders within the site
•The position is critical to the site's structured and well controlled growth.
•University Degree required
•4-6 years of Business/Shared services experience
•At least 2 years of communications and events experience required
•Any experience in writing newsletters, media releases, speeches and Q&A briefs will be beneficial
•Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills required (English) Excellent command of Polish language (written, oral and spoken) to communicate with the external parties
•Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task
•Attention to detail
•High personal and professional integrity
•Enthusiasm, creativity, team-orientation, flexibility.
