Job Description

This Analyst position will be positioned in the Bank’s Credit Risk Modeling Group, within the group’s Project Management/Scorecard Development team. This role will be focused on project management, with the Analyst responsible for tasks such as: facilitating and documenting group-wide model and scorecard development discussions,  tracking development and remediation projects, and creating and maintaining online collaboration sites.  The Analyst will also be involved in the Bank’s CCAR/DFAST stress testing executions, with a focus on writing and delivering documentation for the Credit Risk Modeling Group.  While the role focuses on project management, it will also afford the opportunity for more hands-on technical assignments relating to data analysis and Wholesale and Retail credit scorecard development.  This role is ideal for candidates who are strong communicators and collaborators, with a demonstrated interest in developing a more technical skill set.  This role will provide the Analyst with an introduction to credit risk modeling, regulatory issues, as well as the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders throughout the firm.


Requires a minimum a Bachelor's degree, preferred in finance, accounting and/or mathematics. Strong oral and written communication skill; strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills and ability to work independently are required. PC literacy including proficiency in Excel, Word, and Internet is required. Interaction for the Analyst is primarily internal. Interaction will consist of credit discussions related to business, industry, economic environment, opportunities, relationship background and consideration of credit and structure. BA/BS. 1 year of experience. 3 years preferred

Risk and Compliance provide risk and compliance services across all BNY Mellon businesses. Organizationally, Risk and Compliance includes the following groups: Risk Management, Compliance, Global Corporate Security, Information Risk Management and Global Business Continuity.
