Job Description

The primary responsibility of this position is to identify, analyze, support, and coordinate the implementation of innovative ideas that advance the solution set, accelerate digital transformation, grow revenue, and increase client satisfaction for BNY Mellon’s Treasury Services business. In order to identify and assess digital and innovation opportunities, the position works closely with other groups within Treasury Services Global Product Management, Relationship Management & Business Development (Sales), Technology, Operations, and other business partner groups, and also leverages a Client Advisory Council made up of executives of Treasury Services customers. Initiatives may be incremental or transformative in nature, and may involve the development and implementation of new technology, new processes, new products, or capability extensions for existing products, and may be developed in-house or via engagement with outside vendors. This role provides support to ideas that require evaluation and approval through the Treasury Services Innovation Process ranging from advisory support to full project leadership support models.  Ideas are evaluated for customer value proposition, client experience enhancement, market differentiation and adoption rates, pricing strategies, return on investment, operational cost and efficiency, service quality, alternative system/technology designs, legal/financial/operating risk, and strategic fit among other considerations. The position may manage cross-functional development and implementation teams including resources from Treasury Services Product Management, Operations, Technology, Marketing, Sales and other functions. May act as Treasury Services' representative on various internal and/or industry workgroups. This role has frequent exposure to clients and Treasury Services senior management, and supports thought leadership activities.


Bachelors degree (Finance, Accounting, Business, Marketing or related degree), and MBA or other advanced technical degree preferred. Ten plus years in Cash Management/Treasury Services with strong knowledge of products and client types strongly preferred. TS Product Management, Business Development/Sales, Client Support, or Technology experience is desired.  Demonstrated experience in project management/team leadership, market research, emerging technology, eCommerce, digital, and business/strategic planning strongly preferred. Very strong leadership, strategic analysis, financial analysis, and written and oral communication skills required.
