Product Manager/Development Director
Management and implementation of product strategy across various product types in order to further client growth and retention. The individual will manage a team of product managers whose responsibilities are to act as product experts both internally and externally with the objective of increasing penetration of Dreyfus products across various market segments. Responsibilities include communicating proper product positioning, structural changes and strategy updates as well as developing consensus across the firm on implementing product plans. The person will additionally report to senior management with the necessary information to best leverage market opportunities and make strategic business decisions.
QualificationsBS/BA or MBA and/or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 10 years of related experience (financial product experience is preferred). CFA preferred. Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, ability to identify and interpret marketplace trends. Must have demonstrated ability in leading ad hoc and structured teams in successful achievement of goals within established time parameters. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build networks and business partnerships and be results-oriented.
