Associate Portfolio Manager- Seed Capital Team

Job Description

As a member of the Seed Capital Team, the Associate Portfolio Manager (APM) works with team specialists in Finance, Strategy, Capital Markets, Market Risk and Compliance to monitor and forecast the portfolio s risk and return across a diverse set of measures of both. The measures of risk include both market volatility and regulatory capital among others. The measures of return include market return, revenue support and enterprise value added among others. The APM will also be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the Seed Capital Hedging program including coordination among, modelling, execution and oversight teams. As a member of the Seed Capital Team, the APM will be responsible for assessing the quantitative impact of adding or removing any number of investments to the seed capital portfolio. The ideal candidate should also be familiar with overall drivers of the investment management industry and be conversant in the quantitative and qualitative measures of investment manager quality. The APM may be called upon to advise the Head of Product Strategy or other IM senior management on making or retaining seed capital investments.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree required. Graduate Degree/MBA preferred. 7-10 years experience. CFA preferred. Deep understanding of financial theory and board experience in analysis of global assets classes including equity, rates, FX, credit and alternatives is required. Attention to detail and both verbal and written communication skills are required. Deep experience with Excel and familiarity with PowerPoint are required. Trading or portfolio management experience is a plus.
