Manager, Middle Office (Client Service Delivery – Trade Support)

Job Description

1.     Manage delivery of trade services to investment manager clients

·        Trade capture, processing, communications to external parties, settlement research/resolution

·        Issue resolution and direct communication with clients and external parties

·        Serve as escalation point for client regarding Trade Support services

·        Prepare and present status reporting in formal client reviews


2.     Managerial oversight of operational staff

·        Staff Development (recruiting, training, individual and team meetings)

·        Distribute/allocate assignments to team members for existing and new Middle Office clients

·        Coordinate deliverable coverage

·        Performance management (evaluations, goals/objectives setting)


3.     Program support

·         Engage in new business cycle (RFI/RFP response support, client materials/presentations of service, calculate staff allocation estimates)

·         Participate in client onboarding processes (due diligence, requirement gathering, solution design, interaction model, SLA definition, implementation activities)


4.     Managerial communications & reporting

·        KPI/KRI, metrics, reporting

·        Status reporting to internal management

·        Escalation of issues to management


·        Bachelor degree with minimum 7 years relevant experience in Middle Office and/or Investment Manager Operations

·        Strong managerial/leadership experience

·        Excellent communication and organizational skills

·        Client management background
