Job Description

Leads and manages a medium-sized to large team of Change Management staff to successfully implement client and client-related projects. Responsible for promoting the Change Management function across the wider business. Has experience working with highly-complex, high quantity, often contradictory information. Coaches and develops direct reports and manages performance, talent and career development processes. Has a sound understanding of the commercial environment and competitors products and is aware of current regulatory and legal obligations of locations managed. Leads and controls highly-complex projects, programs or multiple portfolios of change. Projects or programs cover the full lifecycle. Leads collaboration with other specialist functions to achieve project/program objectives and produce deliverables. Provides clear direction and leadership to Change Management team members an ensures functions adherence to Change Management governance standards and standard project methodology. May enlist the work of more junior managers as subordinates on larger projects/programs. Fully compliant with standard project process/implementation methods but readily adapts approach and demeanor to match shifting demands and situations. Consistently delivers quality business solutions within agreed timescales and budgets, including post-implementation support. May be responsible for checking quality of work from more junior managers and ensuring their teams deliver on time. Manages resource plans and roadmaps across specific geographical areas. Approves plans for workload and resource allocation. Approves resource plans and roadmaps developed by more junior managers. Leads and manages the Change Management function in alignment with established functional goals and objectives. Has fully developed analytical and communication skills, works independently under pressure, innovatively problem solves and is able to effectively attain buy-in from others to drive solutions forward. Serves as an escalation point and handles escalated issues from the team, other departments and clients. Handles escalation of issues that will significantly impact delivery of the project or program. Continues to strengthen relationships built with internal teams, suppliers and clients. Manages communication flow between all relevant parties involved in the project or program to report/receive reports on progress, risks and issues. Consistently anticipates and manages client expectations. Can see ahead to future possibilities and translate these into actionable proposals/business plans. Expectations management is aimed at securing favorable terms for the Bank while ensuring client satisfaction. Is an adept leader and understands how own projects, programs and decisions impact other parts of the business. Supports and encourage staff through development planning, performance planning, objective setting and performance review. Manages a medium-sized to large team of Change Management staff. Able to develop the Project and Change Management skills of others. Manages teams successful completion of medium-sized to large, complex projects and programs and ensures adherence to project timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 10-15 years of total work experience preferred with at least 3-5 years in management preferred. Knowledge of the various functions within financial services/asset servicing industry is preferred.
