To assist with the administration, monitoring and report generation for client portfolios and to support the portfolio managers
Provide accurate and timely data to the Portfolio Managers and other areas of the business as appropriate
Continually monitor portfolio characteristics and escalate to Portfolio Manager if necessary
Monitor the cash positions and outstanding deals pertaining to the portfolios using internal systems and interaction with the Dealing and Investment Process Support Team where appropriate
Monitor and highlight client mandate restrictions to Portfolio Managers
Ensure breaches of client or house rules are avoided through the use of systems and interaction with the Investment Process Team, Investment Management Systems team and the Investment Risk Team
Provide accurate and timely data for client presentation packs and new business opportunities working closely with Portfolio Managers, client services and business development
Write and compile commentary and related reporting requirements for client reports under the supervision of the Portfolio Manager
Develop the bespoke reports requested by clients through liaison with Client Services and other relevant departments
Interface between Portfolio Managers and Client Services (both institutional and retail) regarding the status and direction of the clients’ portfolios, client take on, terminations and transitions.
To read appropriate policy and procedures documentation on an annual basis and attest the same to line manager at annual performance assessment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain strong relations and communication links with all areas of the business.
- A team player. Co-operative and accommodating whilst maintaining a positive attitude with an open mind to take on a wide variety of roles. Must enjoy being helpful.

- Technical Skills, Knowledge, Systems Knowledge (and associated skill level)
- Strong IT skills
- Willingness to learn about and master new IT systems
- Academic/Professional Qualifications (or equivalent qualifiers)
- A Levels in Mathematics/Science preferred
- Graduate education preferred
