Job Description

Accountable for establishing the framework of processes, policies, systems and activities required for the management of vendor and legal entity inter-relationships across all global Legal Entities and branches. Leads framework maintenance efforts and establishes maintenance assessment schedules, protocols and procedures. Maintains strong, longstanding relationships with industry regulators in order to gain insight and anticipate regulatory changes; effectively communicates with and influences leadership to ensure appropriate action is taken to maintain alignment with new and changing regulations. Establishes and communicates the strategy for evaluating the quality of supplier and interaffiliate performance across the organization. Leads the global management team responsible for the consolidation of compliance and performance information into an aggregate format. Reviews reporting developed by less experienced managers and, as needed, persuasively disseminates findings to global leadership in order produce favorable conditions and/or strategy changes for the function. Maintains strong working relationships with key business partners throughout the organization, including leadership roles in Risk, Global Procurement, Finance, IT, HR and Legal. Develops the vendor and interaffiliate management governance model, including establishing partnership requirements, standards, terms and reputational expectations, among others. Reviews TPG related reports produced by the management team for accuracy and legibility. Determines what information, metrics and associated reporting is appropriate for presentation to senior management. Is known as an expert within the industry and regularly influences the regulatory landscape. Approves projects to revise policies and plans, as needed. Leads preparation and serves as the main point of contact for interactions with regulatory bodies. Engages with functional leadership across the firm, including Legal, Compliance, Risk and Technology, to enforce compliance with appropriate standards for TPG policy, procedure and performance documentation. Advises and influences senior stakeholders up to EC-level on the development and implementation of wider TPG management initiatives. Recruits, directs, motivates and develops less experienced managers, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability function as a team or lead their team. Responsible for the performance management processes for more junior managers. Leads the creation of Governance, Policies/Procedures, Methodologies and Tools required for the effective implementation of TPG globally. Accountable for the achievement of global goals and objectives. Modified based upon local regulations/requirements.  

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. 15+ years of total work experience, with 5-7 years of management experience, preferred.
