Job Description

We are looking for a Knowledge Manager will develop, lead, and support the implementation of our knowledge management strategy within BNY Mellon Human Resources to deliver a world class employee experience across the globe.   Your goal is to achieve high employee engagement along with driving self-service and empowerment throughout the entire employee’s lifecycle (onboarding, training, benefits, retirement).

  Responsibilities:  
  • Research, develop and incorporate knowledge management best practices and lead the assessment of all HR content, determining what content is appropriate to change, remove or maintain 
  • Partner with subject matter experts, champions / end-users, and key leadership to film interactive and engaging video content
  • Responsible for partnering with SME’s to edit videos, including but not limited to screen capture, narration, parsing footage, basic animation, branding and voice, background music, etc.
  • Responsible for developing ad hoc content, including documentation formatting, drafting and publishing / distribution
  • Engage with MyHR on identifying new or updated content to ensure everything is up to date and accurate
  • Coordinate with Content Manager(s) to publish, manage and tag content appropriate for optimal keyword search
  • Develop and implement knowledge base training for HR Partners
  • Promote, monitors and improves knowledge management program utilizing Neocase reporting and appropriate KPI’s
 

Qualifications

Qualifications:  
  • Experience with HTML, Excel and CSS (CSS is optional)
  • BA, English, Library Science or equivalent
  • MA Library Science preferred
  • 6-8 years’ experience required, 8+ years’ experience preferred
  • Experience in communications and technology is highly preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Innovative nature, learning and adapting new concepts and technologies
  • Experience in communications and technology is highly preferred, with a focus on content strategy
