Principal, Client Relationship Manager - Global Real Estate
Responsible for aggressively managing assigned LOB’s capital and occupancy requirements. Delivers professional advisory services to LOB Executives of assigned businesses’ in support of the assigned LOB’s goals to minimize occupancy costs through efficient space utilization & promoting alternative workplace solutions developed in conjunction with GS&GRE colleagues, HR & Technology. Develops customized occupancy metrics and market studies for regular briefings of key Executives within their assigned LOB so Real Estate considerations are integrated into strategies at their inception.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
-Relationship Management: Accountable as the LOB’s senior point of contact for Managing Directors/CEO’s of assigned businesses. Diligently markets corporate real estate services offered and value added. Effectively communicates cost savings opportunities, project activity and occupancy plan status to key clients. Attends staff meetings at least quarterly, and offsite meetings when possible.
-Facilitate Communication: Accountable for accumulating and communicating LOB plans outlining new initiatives, current business activities, goals & objectives, locations, HR data and operating practices to Strategic Planners and Facility Planners; and communicating Corporate REPO strategy and initiatives to LOB partners
-Strategic Real Estate Consultant: Identify strategic real estate initiatives which improve operating efficiency of LOB. Specifically, this individual is accountable for developing, and aligning, long range occupancy strategies with each LOB’s long range plan. Their goal is to minimize occupancy costs and improve work process. Communicate impact of real estate strategies/options in terms of LOB’s key performance measures.
-Program Liaison: Oversee the definition and development of occupancy planning options in response to proposed business initiatives. Communicate options and financial impact to LOB. Assist LOB with approval process. Provide progress reports on project development/implementation. Program manage major initiaves as needed coordinating with other CRM's and functions within GS&GRE, HR & Technology
-Fosters Teamwork: Fosters team relationships with clients, vendors, project managers and other support groups. Leverages the expertise of team members to deliver the best possible occupancy solution for the LOB
QualificationsBachelor s Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 10-12 years of experience preferred. May require experience specific to the assigned corporate service.
