Specialist, Admin & Planning
Technology Monitoring and Control (TMC) supports BNY Mellon’s critical resiliency priorities by monitoring the design, implementation and operation of controls that reinforce the integrity, security and resiliency of technology development and operations. TMC drives 1st Line of Defense Technology Risk Management and Technology Operational Risk, leads Technology Policy Management, delivers metrics reports on technology risks and controls, assesses critical infrastructure, applications and services, monitors associated controls, drives governance and oversight of risk remediation associated with cybersecurity, third-party governance, stability, and incident management, including disaster recovery and supports the design and execution of technology and information risk programs.
Actively participates in strategic initiatives that have significant impact within a business or function (a unit within a business or business partner). Independently works on more complex projects related to budget, business plans, risk-related items, regulatory items, communications (presentations/speeches) and implementation of policies, standards, and/or processes. Analyzes project implementation status and provides feedback to Sr. Specialist or Principal Planning Consultants or senior managers. Makes recommendations to improve the project status. Works with the management team to implement strategic initiatives. Works with the business or function management team to implement and enforce policies, standards, and processes. Assists in planning and administering business-led programs. such as people-related management, global location strategy, meeting management, etc. Contributes to the achievement of related teams' objectives
QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required; MBA preferred. 6-8 years of experience in financial services or business partner function preferred. Experience in the securities industry is a plus.
