Job Description

We are looking for a Platform Manager to join our team with experience in delivering software and is a master at optimizing productivity and understanding technical concepts. need someone who is a product person but has had some development experience in their career. This is a bit more technical than the average product job, but it is not a code writing position


Responsibilities include: 


·      Own, prioritize and communicate the short, medium, and long term release plan of the team
·      Interface with the rest of the product and engineering organization to understand opportunities, requirements and priorities to ensure the right focus of the team
·      Own backlog and priorities of efforts that will perfect and scale our infrastructure
·      Monitor, measure and evaluate success of rolled out capabilities and iterate as needed
·      Create and develop metrics (data) to evaluate the usage and success of the products you're accountable for
·      Foster adoption of new infrastructure support/systems developed by the team
·      Understand, partake in, and discuss the architecture/technical decisions made by the team
·      Interface with 100+ global development teams 
·      Contribute to the broader Platform strategy; give feedback to technical teams building products on top of the infrastructure
·      Answer day-to-day product questions from engineers to guide implementation
·      Manage communication of progress/status to internal and external stakeholders
·      Triage bugs and other improvements to alleviate issues swiftly
·      Develop tools and processes to improve team efficiency, delivering more value to the customer, and the company
·      Support operations, compliance, and customer experience teams in their technical questions and needs



Bachelor's degree in business management or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required 10-12 years of related experience required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.  Experience with reporting is required L1-SH1


 ExExperience in an Agile development environment 
 Demonstrated experience working in a highly scalable & available system development an operational environment 
  Experience prioritizing a feature backlog for a backend engineering team juggling multiple work streams
Experience working with globally dispersed resources 
 Knowledge of REST, JSON and Angular technology 
Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence and Jenkins
Ability to collaborate with others, ask thoughtful questions, and identify and implement creative product and business solutions in order to complete aspects of product design
Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written and proven track record of building relationships
 Metrics driven, can draw insights from large data sets to improve product focus
