TSG is building next generation scalable, efficient data center as a service using the latest innovation infrastructure. Building on top of the cloud deployments in BNY Mellon, we are aggressively automating and bridging the green field cloud with the existing virtual computing environments. This next generation infrastructure needs to be tied to building several internal SaaS offerings such as Fax as a service, reporting as a service, file transfer as service etc. The infrastructure team is building self-service and low-touch infrastructure utilities that enable building the internal SaaS offerings.
Technology Platforms Electronic Communications team provides electronic-mail and  unified communications solutions for the global corporate environment supporting 60,000 people and 15,000 mobile devices. 

TSG Electronic Communications is currently seeking a candidate that can assess and deliver the automation, standards, processes, monitoring, compliance and reporting tools to support our efforts in Email and SMTP Communications.  The candidate will focus on design, development and implementation of automation solutions to support the management and monitoring of the global electronic communication environment.  This position requires the candidate to have a solid technical grounding to gather requirements, design, develop and test scripts, and monitor effectiveness of the automation once running in production.  The position works closely with engineering peers in Technology supporting Microsoft Exchange, Skype, Active Directory and Veritas Enterprise Vault compliance systems.
Primary Job Responsibilities to Include:
• Design, test and implement scripts, primarily using Powershell, to automate processes and procedures for managing email systems in a large enterprise environment
• Design automation solutions based on requirements gathered from engineering team management, coworkers and key stakeholders
• Design/implement in-depth data integration and reporting capabilities for to measure product usage
• Create and document implementation/support procedures/automation for new deployments
• Participate in the development workflow using Agile tools like JIRA, Git and others.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience developing/programming scripts to support automation of Microsoft environments.  Experience managing Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory preferred.

• Demonstrated experience using Powershell , Perl, python or other scripting languages to solve real-world automation problems.  Powershell experience strongly preferred.

• Understanding of User and server management concepts in Active Directory ,Exchange and  Skype.

• Experience using Splunk Enterprise to gather data and create searches preferred.

• Experience programming interfaces from Powershell to SQL, WMI, ADSI, REST and WebServices APIS preferred.
