Job Description

We are seeking a self-motivated, innovative thinker, with the ability to work as part of a team and think quickly in high pressure situations.  The Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting the sale of the company’s products and services by reviewing overall firm strategy and demonstrating technology solutions to prospective buyers, at any location worldwide. The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for presenting Eagle’s Technology Overview and Strategy focusing on product architecture, data integration, orchestration, and distribution activities along with demonstrating Eagle’s integration and extraction tools and other technology focused components.  In addition to presentations and demonstrations, s/he is responsible for completing technology questions on incoming Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation under the direction of the Manager of Sales Engineering.

 

Qualifications

 

The preferred candidate will have experience delivering significant business change through technology programs with multiple delivery teams and diverse business stakeholders.  Direct experience working with Eagle Performance and Data Management platforms or other Performance Measurement/Data Management application software is preferable, but not required. Ability to work as part of a team is mandatory. Extensive travel should be anticipated.  Excellent oral, written and presentation skills are expected.  Prior public speaking or presentation experience is required.

 

Specialist Technology Strategist->> Drives key strategic initiatives in the planning, analysis, delivery and integration of systems and business development projects. May allocate/coordinate work within a team/project. Participates in the identification, development and implementation of strategy and key growth objectives through analysis and research. Identifies, assesses and solves a variety of complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Applies comprehensive understanding of how multiple areas collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving project objectives. Analyzes early market and technology opportunities in areas of strategic importance for the business unit supported. Creates and communicates business case for emerging technologies. Analyzes market data to identify trends/opportunities. Translates opportunities into strategic operational plans. Contributes to the achievement of related teams' objectives. Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, 6-8 years of related experience required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
