Job Description

Regulatory Strategy Specialist U.S. will consume and interpret U.S. regulation, advocate on behalf of Markets with external working groups, assist the business size a regulatory challenge and shape their approach, provide subject matter expertise during business solutioning & implementation and assist with internal and external communications.   The Regulatory Strategy Specialist will work with legal and compliance partners to help business executives anticipate and understand regulatory changes relevant to their business, implications thereon, and how they should be addressing the regulatory impact over a timeline.    S/he will take direction from the head of U.S. Regulatory Strategy and will work with Markets business managers to ensure that the organization is responding to regulatory change in a compliant, commercial and professional way. Specialist must be able to work with a high degree of independence and be able to communicate clearly to Markets senior management  

 

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. A legal degree is an advantage, but not required.  Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 5-7 years of total work experience preferred.

 

Exposure to a broad array of traded products is preferred, which should include a majority of foreign exchange, prime brokerage, rates, equities, securities lending, collateral management and cash management.  Resolution & Recovery experience is a plus, but not required.
