Full Stack/Spring Framework Developer - Global Trade

Job Description

The ideal candidate would be a full stack developer understanding the SDLC best practices, interested in learning and working new technologies, able to do technical support,  excellent oral and written communication skills, agile software development principles, practice and process experience, experience in use of GIT, Experience in use of build tools like maven and gradle, consults with internal business groups to provide appropriate application software development services or technical support. Analyzes, defines and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks, controls, and outputs using BNY Mellon's standard development methodology. Able to works with internal business groups on implementation opportunities, challenges, and requirements of various applications. Analyzes information and provides recommendations to address and resolve business issues for a specific business group. Able to contribute in defining time tables and project plans. Analyzes and estimates feasibility, cost, time, and compatibility with hardware and other programs. Takes lead for establishing, implementing and monitoring 'best practices' for technical development methodologies and tools. Able to propose innovative, creative technology solutions. Able to contribute to the achievement of area objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, 8-10 years of experience in software development required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.


A team player able to work independently

8+ years of experience with Java/JEE,

5+ years of experience with Spring Framework and related modules

5+ Experience with Javascript, HTML, CSS, ExtJS

RDBMS (PostgreSQL, Oracle)

TDD (Junit, Mockit) experience

Experience with Javascript, HTML, CSS

Experience in creating and integrating RESTful Web services.

Experience with JMS, MQ Series, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Agile software development principles, practice and process experience

Experience in use of GIT, Jenkins

Experience in use of build tools like maven and gradle

Technical support with root cause analysis experience
