Job Purpose:

 

The purpose of the role is to design and implement the Wealth Manager and Private Bank sales strategy for the UK & Ireland Intermediary team and to represent BNY Mellon and its Investment firms to the UK offices of the Global Key Accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To build clear, structured and measurable plans for the key Wealth Managers and Private Banks in conjunction with the Head of UK Intermediary Sales.
  • To build clear, structured and measurable plans for the UK offices of the Global Key Accounts with the Head of European Intermediary Sales.
  • Delivery of the sales and revenue target for the Wealth Manager and Private Bank Channel, incorporating quarterly updates on strategy and results.
  • Development of relationships with senior executives, fund selectors, portfolio managers, analysts and researchers at the key Wealth Managers and Private Banks

  • Ensure close interaction with other members of the sales team to share best practice and provide feedback to members of the team with regional offices of the key Wealth Managers.

  • Retention of client assets
  • Develop good relationships within BNY Mellon
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key individuals at investment boutiques
  • Be responsible for feeding back to sales, marketing and management on industry trends and market intelligence in the Wealth Manager and Private Bank channel.

  • Work with the other Global Key Account leads in Switzerland, Asia Pacific and the US to help provide ongoing reporting and plans for the Global Key Accounts to the senior distribution leadership team.

Academic/Professional Qualifications (or equivalent qualifiers)

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • IAC
  • CAIA
