This position is responsible for the management of the Client Global Corporate Card & Purchasing Card program
The card program includes the issuance and cancelation of Corporate Travel (T&E) cards, maintenance of organizational hierarchy and production of management reporting, including managing any new implementations for new countries or new company acquisitions as appropriate.
Implementation of the purchasing card program to include strategy, vendor opportunity analysis, and training of cardholders.
This position proactively monitors spend for compliance to policy to minimize credit losses, and identify financial risk factors while working with stakeholders to resolve issues.
This role liaises with Shared Services / Expense Accounting to ensure policies and procedures are aligned, integration with Expense system is optimized and helpdesk teams are briefed to answer employee questions and cardholders receive appropriate support for escalation issues.
Responsible for documentation of procedures and communications to establish global standards to support implementation of best practices.
Issues exception/non-compliance reporting, management spend and supplier reporting to identify opportunity areas, manage vendor negotiations and to mitigate risk.
Responsible for creating communications and maintaining website information to assist cardholders to manage their accounts effectively and deliver customer service for our T&E, purchasing and meeting cardholders.

Build cross-functional partnerships and strategies to drive continuous program and process improvement and cost reductions
Day-to-day oversight and liaison with travel agency staff as well as travel suppliers (i.e. airlines, hotels, rental cars, ground transportation companies and corporate charge card provider)
Well rounded knowledge of the travel industry, technologies used for reservations systems and data collection
Requires a Bachelor's degree with emphasis in business or travel related subject matter. Travel certification(s) such as CCTE preferred
Demonstrated written and verbal leadership skills and the ability to work independently and across functions are essential. Full working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Must possess strong analytical, financial, oral and written communication skills. Must be service oriented with exceptional interpersonal skills in order to communicate with all levels of company personnel and suppliers. Must be skilled in problem solving, decision making and able to work against deadlines. Knowledge of travel technology/e-commerce applications a plus.
