Sr. Relationship Manager - Office of Regulatory Relations

Job Description

The Sr. Relationship Manager – Office of Regulatory Relations develops and cultivates the overall firm relationship with U.S. regulators. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
  • Knows and understands our U.S. regulators, acting as the single point of contact for questions, concerns, and feedback
  • Navigates our company on behalf of the regulators, guiding them to applicable sources of expertise
  • Develops and manages the engagement strategy for executive leadership with our U.S. regulators
  • Changes our mindset of our U.S. regulators as preferred clients
  • Manages regular meetings with U.S. Regulators
  • Understands the implications of U.S. regulatory messages and helps interpret them back to the business
  • Maps organization contacts to their U.S. regulatory counterparts
  • Establishes policies and procedures related to U.S. regulatory interaction and management
  • Contributes to development of the strategic objectives for Relationship Management with U.S. regulators.


Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 10-15 years of total work experience preferred with 3-5 years of management experience preferred. Financial Services experience and prior experience in Relationship Management. Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.

The Corporate Treasury group is responsible for managing the investment portfolios and the liquidity and capital positions of the various subsidiary banks and of BNY Mellon.
