Job Description

Position Summary:  Supervises a small team responsible for accounting, reporting and trade settlement on stable value client portfolios.  Manages the performance of assigned staff who coordinate trade settlement, account for stable value assets, reconcile statements with external custodians and providers, and generate monthly and annual client reports.  Maintains some client portfolio accounting responsibility for high profile clients.



Primary Responsibilities:


  • Contributes to the operating policies and procedures in accounting for client portfolios and provides guidance to staff, external providers and clients on products.
  • Adapts departmental plans and priorities to ensure staff have required resources to execute their assigned activities.
  • Serves as an escalation point for client portfolio accounting reporting challenges and responds to client and operational issues.
  • Tracks and reports on team performance, coaches and guides assigned staff to achieve service level objectives.
  • Provides product level metrics for senior management review.
  • Works with internal systems associates to automate procedures that improve work flow and reduce manual operations.
  • Manages relationships with significant third party cash managers, custodians and trustees.
  • Primary point of contact for annual internal and external audits.


Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 4-5 years of total work experience with at least 0-1 years of management preferred. Experience in trading or brokerage preferred. Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
