Technical Process Documentation - IC2 Documents business processes across less-complex BNY Mellon lines of business. Drafts complete and standardized materials and processes. Work is reviewed and approved by more senior team members. Projects may include development of consistent client policy records, on-boarding documents and checklists. With guidance, works with business unit SMEs to perform interviews on technical processes. Learns to use communication and persuasion skills to set up and complete interviews with SMEs to document information on technical processes and communicates interview procedure to SMEs. With assistance, completes and standardizes documentation of processes. Maintains ongoing conversations with SMEs or other technical process information providers to ensure the Technical Process Documentation team is notified when process changes occur. Drafts updates to previously documented technical processes when new information is available. Contributes to the standardization of methods of recording technical processes for some business areas. Performs documentation for the firm or directly for business units as requested. May assist with documentation for roles that are moving to new locations. No direct reports. Performs documentation of lower complexity technical processes and clients. 3-5 years of total work experience preferred. Experience in financial services industry preferred. Experience may also come from technology, software or manufacturing industries.
