Job Description

Leads a wide array of activities associated with project planning and management to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to internal client specifications utilizing a knowledge of the investment industry, various fund structures as well as a knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment. May allocate/coordinate work within projects. Focus of efforts is on both daily operations and strategic efforts requiring oversight of internal and third party vendors and interaction with senior management and multiple high profile boards and committees throughout the Investment Management organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required. Knowledge of the investment industry, various fund structures, legal and regulatory environment.

7-10 years of total work experience in Project Management preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Prince2 certification is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Must have experience with complex legal structures, contract negotiations and experience in formal board operations.
