Job Description

Specialist Developer – Smart Tech, OCR, ICR, Smartform and Workflow Automation

The Performance Excellence & Continuous Process Improvement Department within our CSD (Client Service Delivery) group is an exciting team of business reengineering professionals sitting alongside a team of core technologists dedicated to a commitment of excellence to our clients. Our team is growing, and we need senior technologists to help shape the direction of the team. We hold a high bar and expect developers to create solutions that are modular, re-useable, scalable, and supportable.

The successful candidate to this position will first and foremost be a creative thinker, well grounded in Object Oriented software development, and have an entrepreneurial mindset focused on automation projects that will aim to mimic human interaction on a document or system and can capture, interpret and process transactions across multiple digital systems making processes run better, faster and more efficient by:

-eliminating non-value-added work and risky UDT’s (user-defined technology solutions).

-Increasing scalability and flexibility with greater accuracy, ensuring a zero defect environment.

-eliminating swivel-chair integration between 2 systems (e.g., copy-paste functions that transfer data from one-system to another due to a lack of a formal interface)

-automating and improving manual and rule-based, repetitive, computer-based tasks.

Experience in Architecting a solution using multiple technologies is needed.

S/He will work within the team and with other internal business groups.

S/he will be able to represent the technology at the most basic level, as well as synthesize design choices to decision-makers.

S/He will provide transparency in all things and open and honest feedback to managers and teammates alike.

In this role you'll be a critical member of a fast-paced cross-functional startup team and must thrive in a high energy, time-constrained, multitasking environment.
We are seeking an engineer with advanced experience in computer vision, embedded systems, machine learning, and possibly mobile development.

-Apply machine learning to multi-sensor data including images
-Design, develop, and test computer vision algorithms for applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, 6-8 years of experience in software development required.

Looking for experience with OCR – Optical Character Recognition, ICR – Intelligent Character Recognition, Machine learning, Workflow development and/or Smart forms.
