Job Description

Job Purpose:

  • To service, market and generate sales from a sophisticated wholesale-institutional (70/30 %) client base in the Netherlands, including wholesale and private banks, wealth offices, fiduciary managers, pension funds and insurance companies
  • To work, as a team, together with the Country Head to realise further, high-quality, sustainable revenue
  • To service the existing client base in a pro-active and client centric manner
  • To create a true partnership with the opt-in investment boutiques
  • To raise the profile of BNY Mellon Investment Management EMEA Ltd in The Netherlands as an asset management company.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • On a senior level and in a solutions driven approach, pro-actively service existing contacts/ prospects/ clients in the Dutch market including wholesale and private banks, wealth offices, fiduciary managers, pension funds and insurance companies

  • Covering the client base in a client centric and mindful manner  

  • Excellent knowledge of the investment boutiques and their services

  • Organising and attending road shows in order to raise the BNY Mellon and investment boutique profile in The Netherlands and to increase business opportunities.

  • Organising and attending prospect meetings.

  • Attending the relevant sales conferences.

  • Increase business opportunities, number of RFP’s etc.

  • Close new business deals working with clients, investment boutiques, product specialists/fund managers, legal.

  • Take responsibility for agreed revenue and cost budget.

Technical Skills, Knowledge, Systems Knowledge (and associated skill level):

  • Thorough knowledge of BNY Mellon’s asset management products.

  • Thorough knowledge of asset management industry.

Academic/Professional Qualifications/ Experience:

  • Graduated Bachelor/ Master degree from University or equivalent.

  • CFA or equivalent.

  • Significant relevant experience.
