Prin, Corp Comms (Principal - Internal Corporate Communications - Technology)
With a focus on internal communications, leads the planning and execution for a primary communications function that supports the key strategic initiatives and business goals of our firm, with a focus on its Technology unit. Provides day-to-day support of employee engagement, brand awareness, and the unique value contributed by individual CIO teams within Technology.
Should possess excellent writing, editing and communications skills, and the ability to forge collaborative relationships with multiple business stakeholders and external partners around the world to align activities to key strategic objectives.
Experience in using social media and digital media (video in particular) to drive engagement a plus.
Develops and manages annual planning process and results reporting to primary business stakeholders. Involves others in decision making to secure buy in.
Actively seeks input and considers all relevant factors to make timely and well informed decisions.
Technology subject matter expert.
Plays an active role in company events.
Ensures standard operating procedures and policies are being employed. Encourages diverse thinking that challenges the status quo to raise standards and promote a culture of innovation.
Must have a sense of urgency and the drive to establish individual accountability supporting functional or business initiatives.
Remains focused on accomplishing objectives despite obstacles.
Provides guidance to less experienced staff, while directly managing elements of the team.
Leads projects, including assigning work and monitoring quality and completion. Develops, monitors, and negotiates budgets.
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of work experience required, advanced degree preferred;
- 15+ years of related communications experience preferred, ideally in internal roles within highly matrixed organizations;
- Experience in the financial services or consulting industries preferred.
