Regulatory Reporting Analyst - CASS
Control testing role supports businesses and operations to ensure risk culture and controls environment meet the requirements of the FCA’s Client Asset rules (CASS).
Examines CASS risk and controls for accuracy, consistency and compliance. Assists in root cause analyses to identify control enhancements and contributes to the development of actions plans to address.
Implements plans and programs that help reduce overall CASS risk and supports more senior team members in driving CASS objectives through the organisation.
Understands and can articulate well processes, products and relevant systems which from which CASS risks may arise.
Provides guidance to projects in support of new or evolving processes / products to ensuring robust controls are designed and implemented.
Prepares reports and delivers results to senior management, governance committees or other forums as applicable.
Responsible for the execution and reporting of attestation processes.
Builds and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to remove barriers to successful regulatory reporting implementation.
No direct reports.
Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience working with securities operations is required. Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) desirable.
Experience performing controls testing in a monitoring, audit or assurance role and knowledge of the FCA’s Client Asset Handbook also desirable.
