Lead Manager, Appl Support->> Manages a small to medium-sized team responsible for application support activities. Participates in defining the methodology of the department and plans management and software releases. Manages overall testing effort. Monitors software and systems defects. Supports product migrations through all systems environments. Structures and monitors activities based upon approved project methodologies. Analyzes system requirements and leads implementation of changes. May review test plans and test scripts.Provides QA resource estimates and assigns appropriate resources. Participates in the recruiting process, instructs, assigns, directs and reviews the work of the team, prepares performance reviews and provides ongoing feedback. Manages an application support teamContributes to the achievement of team objectives. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree is beneficial. 8 +years of experience in information technology required, experience in managing resources and/or project teams required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
