Job Description

The incumbent is responsible to provide superior client service to Sales Officers, Portfolio Managers and Trust Administrators by providing administrative expertise in the asset transfer process. His/her work must be of highest quality as the quality of work has a direct impact on the first impressions of the new client. He/She is responsible for making independent decisions to meet client requests. Only extremely complex issues are expected to be referred to the area manager. The incumbent will be responsible to review, recommend and implement productivity changes / improvements for processes to mitigate risk and exposure while ensuring compliance to all department, corporate, fiduciary and regulatory policies and procedures. He/She interacts regularly with individuals throughout the organization at all levels. The incumbent is accountable for developing strategic relationships and build networks with industry peers by participating in industry user groups and day-to-day interactions. The incumbent develops, reviews and maintains business unit procedures/workflows. He/she will also be responsible for the preparation of management reports for strategic and statistical data. He/She will also participate in various projects to support business line needs. Knowledge of securities processing and banking regulations required. He/she must also have industry knowledge of the transfer process for all types of assets including mutual funds, derivatives, physical assets, limited partnerships, cash and book-entry securities. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Excellent client service, written/oral communication, problem solving and organizational skills. He/She must be self-motivated with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment. Ability to work both independently and in team settings.

Qualifications

High School Diploma. BS/BA is preferred. 4 - 5 years of related experience; 2 - 4 years of securities, trust or brokerage operations experience. 5 - 6 years of Securities Operations and client service experience. SEI Trust Accounting and CMS (Custody Management System) experience a plus.
