Business Metrics and Corporate Administration Manager (Specialist, Business Planning and Analysis)
Business Metrics & Reporting • Identifying, defining, gathering and compiling metrics in a readable fashion for effective business monitoring and decision making • Conducting analyses, data validation and reporting in support of general business operations, special projects and strategic/operational planning activities • Creating reports, dashboards and presentations for Board and other key stakeholders and other forums and creating summaries and synopsis for crisper understanding of the information • Correlating interdependent metrics to identify, highlight and predict trends • Developing new processes or procedures for required analytics. Applying processes to gather, organize and review data/metrics; • Standardisation & automation of metrics capture and reporting • Monitoring and tracking of open and red/amber items, issues, risk logs, aged items • Special projects – Assist peers and seniors on various projects and initiatives of the company, provide data analysis and reporting support to help achieve the objectives. Corporate Governance Administration • Providing support to management on corporate administration • Working closely with a company’s Board of Directors, its CEO and senior officers providing information on board best practices and tailoring the board’s governance framework to fit the needs of the company and its directors • Arranging and managing the process of directors’ and committees meetings • Coordinating and attending board and committee meetings; preparing agendas and minutes • Ensuring board and committee meetings are maintained in a controlled and compliant environment
QualificationsRequirements, Skills, Experience
• 6 – 8 years of overall working experience • At least 2 years of experience in similar role, preferably in financial services industry • Hands-on experience in creating, tracking and reporting stats • Expertise in MS Office – Excel, PowerPoint and Word • Analytical skills • Ability to identify trends/issues and follow-up/escalate as appropriate • Strong organization, attention to detail and time management skills • Ability to gather, validate and analyse critical data to convert into information for the management Nice to have • Ability to write Excel macros to automate or simplify tasks • Experience with regulatory reporting • Legal background • Proven experience of handing corporate governance matters
