Job Description

EMEA Asset Servicing Technology Department is looking for a passionate data analyst eager to delve into some of the particularly intricate data structures and find the way out to answer various data-related requests raised by the Business Stakeholders.


We are looking for an individual having sound technology background and in particular – decent SQL knowledge and understanding of data manipulation processes. The successful candidate will work with data models composed of few hundred relational tables and will need to quickly understand around 1000 SQL scripts existing already and creating all sorts of reports.  She/he will also work closely with Business Teams to clarify and understand the requirements - so excellent communication skills and command of English are essential.


The successful candidate will be a member of the Global BNYM Technology Team helping End Users to extract data in a form meeting the requirements. In addition candidate will be involved in creation and automation of efficient solutions for existing and new business processes. Previous knowledge and experience in areas involving data modelling and data processing would be welcome.



Skills and duties essential for the role:

  • Knowledge and skills sufficient to handle and understand/prepare complex SQL
  • Basic/medium level of knowledge of C# or other Object Languages
  • Willingness to work closely with Business Stakeholders to collect and agree on requirements. It is desired to communicate with Business Teams with level of details sufficient to design technical solutions.
  • Ability to prepare technology solutions in accordance to internal Framework and best practices. Team and Environment is proven and mature so it is crucial to be focused on improvement of overall delivery and quality.
  • Being open and proactive – solid technology background is a must but it is welcome to propose improvements which will help to build next level of maturity of the Product and as a result perception of the Team.
