Job Description

Exec Manager, Strategic Planning->> Contributes to creating strategies and plans that define how information technology should be utilized to support the overall business strategy, managing portfolios of projects across multiple business units. Leads the execution of the portfolios of projects across multiple business units. Contributes to the evolution of the IT strategy and identification of the yearly thematic goals. Maintains knowledge of emerging technological trends and utilizes this knowledge to educate both IT and the business on opportunities to build better technology solutions that support and drive business decisions. Provides strategic input to the executive management team for the technology direction of the business units. Provides thought leadership in areas of expertise and experience, and catalyzes decisions and actions against these priorities. Develops an integrated roadmap across the IT delivery model components. Accountable for the broad education about the model and establishing a culture of continuous improvement across IT. Provides guidance on setting strategic objectives and goals, working closely with the business unit to gain buy-in and support for growth objectives and recommendations. Manages multiple strategic planning groups. Contributes to the achievement of Strategic Planning objectives. Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred 15+ years of related experience required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
